The IAA Europe General Assembly and Symposium are key moments in the organisation’s calendar, bringing together representatives from national member organisations, alongside artists, cultural workers and invited speakers from across Europe.
Hosted annually in a different country, these gatherings provide space to:
- review and shape the direction of IAA Europe
- share knowledge and perspectives across national contexts
- discuss the conditions affecting artists and the wider arts sector
- build relationships across the network
Alongside the formal General Assembly, the public-facing Symposium programme offers a series of talks, discussions and presentations exploring urgent issues for artists and cultural policy across Europe.
